The Buzz -- Tattoos and politics are certainly strange bedfellows but they do collide now and then in very interesting ways! This exhibit features examples of tattoos and their relationship to politics. Included in the exhibit are materials from the 1884 United States presidential election between Maine Republican Senator James Gillespie Blaine (1830-1893) and New York Democratic Governor Grover Cleveland (1837-1908), as well as the 2008 campaign between Barack Obama and John McCain, with several stops in between. |
