This is a less traditional way to spend the 4th of July. The event includes about 200 people dressed in period clothing reenacting the first 4th of July celebrated in Salem. The event is something you will not likely forget!

The fair has become one of the largest in North Carolina. The event offers the typical fair items, great food that gives you heartburn, and rides. They also offer a variety of entertainment. The fair facilities have recently been remodeled and are some of the best around.
