4. Oyster Festival & Colonial Days

The Buzz -- Step into the Gates House and Plough Tavern and take your pick from the many choices of savory oyster stews, steamed shrimp and clams, pork tenderloin sandwiches, and apple fritters. Wash down your lunch with a glass or two of cider, beer, or wine. This annual October festival has been celebrated for more than thirty years.
