Absolutely one of the best restaurants anywhere
The ambience, the food and the waitresses were all completely perfect. I can't wait to return to York.

New out/in-door dining was great. Food was wonderful - grilled cheddar on pumpernickel with pineapple and bacon; real home-made fries were a real treat. Ordered creme broule to share and wait-person couldn't decide who to bill it to, so he paid for it himself! Of course, that got him really good tips all around. Service was top-notch; in and out in about 90 minutes. Would recommend to all.

This used to be our favorite place when David owned it. I made reservations at the time of ownership change and no one mentioned it wasn't the same restaurant. We were used to well-made creative cuisine, great wine selections, and wonderful, personal service. Now we won't go. We went and were disappointed with the food, the service was downright terrible, the server didn't even know how the specials were prepared and that special artistry was gone. The decor change was dreadful. They ruined that old world charm and gallery from which you could purchase art, which we used to do. Ugg! Don't bother anymore. David, we want you back!
