This 18th-century townhouse hosts an excellent collection of English clocks and antique furnishings. The permanent display is quite interesting, as are the changing temporary exhibitions that delve further into the "polite society" of the 18th century. Visitors can learn about the elaborate social events that were held and the preparations that went into them. There is a good gift shop selling genuine antiques as well as souvenirs.   (© 10Best)
