This row house street of cottages, which were built by Thomas Langtoft in 1316, are the oldest structures standing in York. A gated opening to the left of the row leads to the Holy Trinity Church. No. 60 was recently bought and renovated by the York Conservation Trust, and now houses a jeweller's shop.

This tower is angular and comprised of multiple sides. It is a ten-faced old tower, standing nine metres high, that was part of a Roman fortress built in the year 300 AD. It is located adjacent to the Museum Gardens and Yorkshire Museum.
