5. Haunted Walk of York

Some say that the true tales of York's history are scary enough that ghost tour guides don't need to rely on anything but their ability to retell a story. That's an accurate assessment! No props, no gimmicks, just a great storyteller with a lot of juicy material to work with. Tours depart from Exhibition Square in front of the Art Gallery and last about 1 hour.   (© 10Best)
