The longstanding history of this pub, which is famous for bearing the brunt of the annual flooding of the River Ouse, is the popular draw of King's Arm. The building dates back to the 16th century and has a classic pub interior with wood and brick and plenty of draft and bottled beers. The top seller, Samuel Smith's, is brewed only a few miles from town. The Ghost Walk of York leaves from outside the pub at 8pm most evenings.
