8. Nineteen Restaurant

Under new ownership since 2007, this unpretentious restaurant is celebrated for its excellent, fresh dishes and its intimate, relaxed atmosphere. Getting there is a challenge, since it's tucked away in a maze of small streets, but your searching efforts pay off when you settle into the rustic dining room for dishes like Scallops with capers and white raisins or Halibut,Clam and bacon stew.
