5. Fellini's

Booked this restaurant as the write up on this site for Fellinis was good. What a disappointment. Three of us had Vodka Penne which sounded delicious on the menu. Basically it was penne cooked in Campbell's tomato soup with a little bit of chilli powder. As for the bacon bits, needed a microscope to see them!! Another one in our party sent her Lasagne back as it was still frozen in the centre even though the menu said everything was freshly cooked to order. I think not. The attitude of the staff was quite obnoxious and rude. On our next visit to York we certainly will not be visiting this restaurant!!

We eat there frequently, good food, super range of wines, and great atmosphere, even when there are only a few diners, the staff make it special. Always friendly and Italian feel. Makes you want to support Italian Rugby.
