4. I. Meštrović Atelier

After seeing Meštrović's work all around the city, round out the experience with a visit to this blissfully serene place. It was the artist's home at the beginning of 20th century, and this is where he created some of his best known work. In 1952 he bequeathed it to the then People's Republic of Croatia; it now houses a permanent exhibition of Ivan Meštrović's works, giving homage to one of last century's greatest sculptors.   (© 10Best)
