The Archaelogical Museum is one of Zagreb's most important institutions, with rich exhibits presented in five collections. Among the best known of its treasures are the bandages of the Zagreb mummy (a linen book which is the world's longest Etruscan inscription), the exquisite Head of a Solin girl, and the Vučedol dove. The museum courtyard presents the Lapidarium, a collection of stone monuments from the Roman period in the form of an archaeological park. It offers the added bonus of a nice café and bar, and atmospheric lightning adds extra magic in the evenings.
