5. Ethnographic Museum

This often overlooked Zagreb museum is handily located on the tree-lined stretch from the National Theatre and very near Mimara Museum and the Museum of Arts and Crafts. Expect your visit to forge an even deeper understanding of Croatians and indeed your fellow man in general. For here you will find folk costumes, instruments, ornaments and curiosities from as far as Africa, Asia and South America. The Croatian collection represents all the main regions, and the collection focusing on customs and beliefs reputedly holds 1200 Easter eggs.   (© 10Best)
