7. Klovićevi dvori Gallery

When this former 18th-century Jesuit monastery officially became an art gallery in 1982 it was to permanently stage an extensive Mimara display. Instead it developed into a platform for the most prestigious art collections that pass these shores on their way to other European capitals. Its exhibition space also comprises Lotršćak Tower, and the location in the Upper Town is a perfect setting for a spot of cultural enlightenment before you surrender to Zagreb's other pleasures.
