Even in the coolness provided by the wooded surroundings of Ribnjak Park, it can get pretty hot in Purgeraj. Outside seating offers some respite from the lively crowded bar and venue that presents rock, blues and rockabilly acts, as well as the occasional open-mike evening. The drink selection covers a connoisseur-wide choice of rakija, the local firewater; 'biska' made of mistletoe and honey-made 'medica' are some of the local favourites.
