7. Radićeva Street

Small and pretty Radićeva Street leading up from the main square isn't there just so you can check the Stone Gate off your list of must-sees; some of its old world charm and quirkiness is there to be purchased. Miniature shops at numbers 31 and 35 have curious mixtures of tin soldiers, Dungeons & Dragons, paintings and souvenirs. Širok (Bakačeva 5, on the way to the cathedral) also has a good choice of traditional Zagreb products. Kathy Balogh at #22 has finely designed ladies fashion and you can complement these with shoes or jewellery from several other small design shops. Hours may vary by store.   (© 10Best)
