1. Fraumünster

This massive medieval church was built in six phases, beginning in the mid-ninth century and ending in the late 13th century. Noted for its splendid Gothic flourishes and its stained glass windows designed by Marc Chagall, it was the former house of worship for Zürich's aristocratic ladies' guild.   (© 10Best)
