This is one of the city's most beautiful spots. The square offers a quaint neighborhood setting and a scenic view at sunset. Getting to Lindenhof Square involves a hike through narrow alleys, but the view is worth the walk.

This monumental bridge, which was constructed in 1838, has a commemorative statue of Burgomaster Waldmann. Waldmann was executed during the late 1400's when his political foes gained favor. The bridge is a crossing point from Fraumünster to Grossmünster.

At the center of the city is one of the most traveled town squares. Paraplatz was originally a cattle market and still showcases an exquisite mansion, the Crédit Suisse.

Some of the city's most popular sites can easily be walked. The quays of Zürich feature planned strolling paths, which include sites like the Limmatquai in the center of town, and the Mythenquai, which follows Lake Zürich.

With a well-known landmark fountain, this popular city square is the oldest in Zürich. The square's Weinbauer fountain was dedicated in the early 1900's, but the site dates back to the 1600's, when it was used as a corn exchange. Weinplatz also has a scenic view of the Rathausbrücke and the Rathaus.
