This monumental bridge, which was constructed in 1838, has a commemorative statue of Burgomaster Waldmann. Waldmann was executed during the late 1400's when his political foes gained favor. The bridge is a crossing point from Fraumünster to Grossmünster.

With a well-known landmark fountain, this popular city square is the oldest in Zürich. The square's Weinbauer fountain was dedicated in the early 1900's, but the site dates back to the 1600's, when it was used as a corn exchange. This massive medieval church was built in six phases, beginning in the mid-ninth century and ending in the late 13th century. Noted for its splendid Gothic flourishes and its stained glass windows designed by Marc Chagall, it was the former house of worship for Zürich's aristocratic ladies' guild.
