The Buzz -- Zurich's New Year's Eve celebration is the largest in Switzerland, attracting more than 150,000 revelers. Throughout the area where the Limmat River feeds into the Zurichsee, in the squares and all along General Guisan Quai, Quaibr¨¹cke and Utoquai, happy people dance, drink and eat. Then at 12:20am, the fireworks begin a massive display, launched from boats in the lake, that entrances everyone. And when that's over, the partying continues well into the night. In fact, public transportation runs until 4am just to accommodate the crowds. Sponsored by several city hotels, which offer special rates and package deals for the event, this is a fabulous way to ring in the new year!
