    Solo passengers aboard Royal Caribbean's Quantum of the Seas, Ovation of the Seas and Anthem of the Seas can book studio cabins and staterooms, some with their own balconies. Passengers can request to be seated at a larger table come mealtime, and there are plenty of activities on board to keep everyone entertained.

  • Azamara Club Cruises

    An intimate atmosphere aboard Azamara Club Cruises means solo passengers feel welcomed and well taken care of. Single supplements are often as low as 25 percent, and the rate includes alcohol, gratuities and AzAmazing Evenings on select sailings.

  • Seabourn Cruise Line

    The small-ship intimacy of Seabourn Cruise Line makes it easy for solo travelers to meet other passengers in an inclusive environment. Officers host tables for dinner, and single travelers get special consideration so they don't have to dine alone. The single supplement starts at 75 percent of the standard double occupancy fare.

  • Norwegian Cruise Line

    Norwegian Cruise Lines pioneered the trend of studio cabins, built and priced for solo travelers, which can be found on Epic, Breakaway, Getaway, Escape and Pride of America. While small, these cabins feature a full-size bed and a window to the corridor. Solo travelers enjoy exclusive access to their own social space, the Studio Lounge.

  • Crystal Cruises

    Single travelers love Crystal Cruises, and on some sailings, as much as a quarter of the passengers will be sailing solo. Single supplements start as low as 10 percent, and travelers enjoy perks like singles parties, dancing and dining hosts and the Table for 8 program that seats singles together at specialty restaurants.

    While Princess Cruises has yet to get onboard with single passenger cabins, solo passengers appreciate the line's wide variety of onboard experiences, like on-deck Festivals of the World celebrations or activities inspired by hit shows like Shark Week and Deadliest Catch.

    Traveling with G Adventures means you're "solo but never alone." The company's small group river and expedition cruises are solo-friendly, with no single supplements for those willing to share a room with a same sex traveler. Those who prefer their own space can opt for the My Own Room option at a great price. About half of every G Adventures group consists of solo travelers.
