    A Seattle hotel room for under $150 a night is a steal, especially when that room is at the charming Georgetown Inn just a few miles from downtown. This independently owned hotel (another rarity in Seattle) offers amenities like free WiFi, continental breakfast (all cups, lids and utensils are starch-based and compostable) and a flat panel TV with HBO.   • Boulder Adventure Lodge

    Conveniently nestled between the city and the mountains, The Boulder Adventure Lodge (A-Lodge for short) was created by two local adventure enthusiasts. Only miles from world-class rock climbing in Boulder Canyon, skiing at Eldora Mountain Resort, as well as biking and hiking near Boulder's Flatirons, guests have plenty of options to occupy their time. On-site activities include a slack-line park, exploring the Fourmile creek that runs through the property and walking, biking or fishing along the Boulder Creek path.     Hosts Joe and Bebe Rabhan offer a warm welcome at this uptown inn, a lovely 1890's Greek Revival mansion situated on the St. Charles Avenue streetcar route.
