The Goodwich voted the most over-the-top burger in Nevada

Middlegate Station, Pioneer Saloon, Beefy's and The Dillinger in top five

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. We certainly hope that's the case with the calorie counts in these 10 over-the-top burgers served at restaurants in Sin City and throughout Nevada.

Rollin Smoke Barbecue (Las Vegas)

Sassafras (Carson City)
A favorite menu item from Sassafras in Carson City is the Fried Cheese Cheeseburger, an indulgent burger topped with crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside fried cheese. Photo courtesy of Sassafras
Holsteins (Las Vegas)
You don't need to be a billionaire to order the Billionaire Burger from Holsteins in Las Vegas (though it isn't exactly cheap either). This decadent burger is made with kobe beef and topped with foie gras, port onion marmalade, frisee and truffle mayo. Photo courtesy of Nani Leilani / Flickr
Fat Choy Restaurant (Las Vegas)
Fat Choy Restaurant in Las Vegas marries Asian comfort food with classic American diner fare. Their signature menu item is the Fat Choy Burger – a half-pound burger patty topped with short rib, bacon, a fried egg, cheddar cheese and onion jam. Photo courtesy of Fat Choy Restaurant
Butcher's Kitchen (Reno)
The Cleaver, a half-pound burger from Butcher's Kitchen in Reno, gets its name from the restaurant logo. This hearty sandwich includes a patty made from pork belly and ground brisket, served on a bed of applewood-smoked pulled pork and house BBQ sauce and topped with bacon, cheddar cheese and caramelized onions on a toasted garlic bread bun. Try it with or without a dollop of Southern slaw.   Photo courtesy of Butcher's Kitchen Char-B-Que
The Dillinger (Boulder City)
A meat lover's dream, The Dillinger serves their signature burger with cheddar cheese, applewood smoked bacon and a heaping pile of beef brisket.

Beefy's (Reno)
Diners are sure to get their protein fix when they order The Moo, The Cluck and the Oink from Beefy's in Reno. This giant cheddar burger (moo) comes topped with a grilled chicken breast (cluck), swiss cheese, mushrooms, pastrami, bacon (oink), grilled onions and yet another burger patty, pepper jack cheese, BBQ sauce and an onion ring. Pioneer Saloon (Goodsprings)
The Ghost Burger, a popular menu item at the Pioneer Saloon in Goodsprings, features a half-pound Angus beef patty on a buttered toasted bun. It's extreme status comes from the fiery toppings: a pepper jack infused cheese, The Pioneer's secret ghost pepper sauce and roasted jalapeño bacon. Middlegate Station (Middlegate)
The Middlegate Monster was born when a customer complained that he had to eat two of the burgers he loved so much to get his fill. Middlegate Station decided to combine two burgers and make it a challenge. Diners who can finish 1 and 1/3-pound of lean meat topped with lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles and cheese on a sourdough bun with a heaping side of fries (no sharing and no potty breaks) wins a Middlegate Monster t-shirt. The Goodwich (Las Vegas)
The Patty, the most popular sandwich on the menu at The Goodwich in Las Vegas, is a unique twist on a traditional patty melt burger. A griddled 4-ounce beef patty gets seasoned and mixed with caramelized onions before getting chopped and pulled (much like a cheesesteak). As the meat finishes cooking, smoked cream cheese is folded in, along with roasted jalapeños. It all comes on buttered marble rye bread with house-made aioli, pepper jack cheese, a fried egg and a crispy chicken skin. Photo courtesy of The Goodwich
