With an enviable location on the edge of downtown's Coal Harbour, The Loden puts guests in a perfect position to take their four-legged friends to nearby Stanley Park. Stanley Park boasts one of Vancouver’s 36 off-leash areas and is one of only four that is fenced in. The latest copy of Modern Dog magazine, complimentary to hotel guests staying with their pawsh pooches, is included in the slew of pet amenities.

Size doesn’t matter at The Little Nell, where all pets are welcome regardless of weight. The hotel's Puppy Jet Lag kit can comes in handy for those bringing pooches to this ritzy resort town, where doggie treats are doled out at businesses and pups on restaurant pawtios are a common sight. In addition to a slew of other amenities, the Little Nell gives its two-legged guests a book on petiquette: guidelines for pets and their people.

Pooches can 'hang 20' when they check into this laid-back hotel in a county laden with dog-friendly beaches. Teevan McManus, the hotel’s canine surfing instructor, teaches pets how to ride waves. Afterward, furry friends can retreat to their room for a gourmet meal from the in-room doggie dining menu room. Loews Loves Pets program also showers four-legged guests with amenities and the hotel has a dog-friendly restaurant, plus offers pet-walking and pet-sitting services.
