Twin Falls Sandwich Company named Best Trout Sandwich in Idaho!
SmokeHouse BBQ & Saloon, Bleubird, Locavore Bistro and Elevation 486 in top five
The clear, cold waters of Idaho's streams and rivers set the scene for some of the nation's best trout fishing, particularly rainbow trout. With such a bounty of local fish available, it's no surprise that trout makes its way onto menus at restaurants throughout the state, sometimes as a classic sandwich, other times in a taco, atop eggs Benedict or as a trout board. While not all our nominees are sandwiches in the traditional sense, all feature trout and some form of bread used as a vehicle for enjoying it.
