Staying in Buenos Aires can be characterized as one of life’s simple pleasures: easy to book and hard to leave. You’ll find many big hotels (including great luxury hotels like Sofitel and Faena, if you’re willing to splurge) with all the comforts you would expect in an international city used to hosting travelers, as well as a number of unique boutique hotels – some with cosmopolitan charm and others with a personality only found in Buenos Aires. Many of Buenos Aires’ boutique hotels can be found in the Palermo neighborhood, but not all are concentrated there. But for travelers craving a little slice of home or a long-term stay in the Paris of South America, there are also lots of beautifully-furnished apartments – from modest to luxe – from which to choose.
