After a five-year delay, a new Residence Inn by Marriott will open in downtown Tempe this fall. The modern hotel tower features 173 rooms, including spacious suites designed for extended stays.
The hotel is located directly across from Arizona State University's Sun Devil Stadium. Guests at the Residence Inn will be within easy walking distance to Mill Avenue District shops, restaurants and nightlife venues.

The Residence Inn offers the perfect balance of work and play. There are work areas and free Internet available throughout the hotel, so guests can stay productive. There's also a rooftop pool and patio area with great views of Tempe and Phoenix, perfect for after-hours lounging and relaxation.
Other amenities include a complimentary grocery delivery service, an evening social hour and free hot breakfasts. Room rates will range from $119 to $279 per night, depending on time of year and room size. The ground-level floor will eventually feature a hotel restaurant.
What's the vibe at the new Residence Inn? The hotel blends contemporary design with a whimsical Alice in Wonderland theme. A lot of the art in the hotel was recovered from Bandersnatch Brew Pub, a landmark neighborhood watering hole that once stood in the spot where the hotel was built.
Tempe's large student population and hip urban neighborhoods make this a vibrant, fun place to stay when you're visiting Tempe.
