Hardwood floors; big, airy windows; vintage furnishings; and sparkling chandeliers set the mood for a relaxing day of shopping at Lorelei Boutique in Tempe.

If you're looking for a fun place to enjoy a girl's day out of shopping, this is the place to discover chic new wardrobe essentials.

The shop – which is located just east of Phoenix near Guadalupe Road and McClintock in the busy Tempe Square Shopping Center – sells unique women's apparel and accessories for women of all ages.

Lorelei Boutique only has about 650 square feet of retail space, but that only adds to the coziness of the shopping experience.

The store is full of fashion finds that you won't find at many big-box retailers. This includes an eclectic and carefully curated inventory of women's dresses, blouses, skirts and accessories from a mix of both popular and independent design brands.

The store's philosophy is all about finding clothes to make women feel beautiful in their own skin. Shoppers will find both formal and casual pieces to put together outfits for work, a special occasion or just for a casual day out with friends.

Some of the brands available at Lorelei include Adina Reyter, Blank NYC, Charlene K, Charlie Jade, Sugar Bean, Skinny by Jessica Elliot, Cynthia H. Designs, Grace Hats NY, I Love Tyler Madison, Dylan, En Creme and many more design labels.

The store also features locally designed items, including the Chocolate Robin jewelry line from Phoenix designer Louise Duckworth.

Accessorizing is a big part of fashion, and Lorelei Boutique has you covered in that department. Some of the unique accessories available at Lorelei include Kendra Scott jewelry, available for the first time in Tempe at the shop. You'll also find stylish hand bags from Big Buddha Bags.

For a touch of casually elegant bling, check out the handmade necklaces from Fulton and Gold. The beautiful necklaces, which were made in New York, feature genuine crystals and stones.

If mixed metals with elegant Swarovski crystals get your heart racing, take a look at the gorgeous pieces from Tat2Designs.

Lorelei Boutique is the brainchild of local entrepreneur Julie Tenney, who named the store after her mother and daughter, who share the name.

The store's inventory is always being updated, so shoppers will find new fashion treasures to discover on every visit.

The shop is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the week; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays; and noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
