The stylish wine cafe is located at the posh Scottsdale Quarter on the city's north side, and it features a wine list with more than 100 bottles.

But the main attraction at Sorso is the WineEmotion 32-wine dispenser, an innovative system that lets guests try different varietals and bottles.
Simply take your glass to the dispenser; insert your key card (which is similar to a hotel key card); select your wine; pour; and enjoy.
The dispenser offers an easy way to sip and savor a range of varietals from around the world. The bar hopes guests will use the dispenser to custom design their own wine education and to explore varieties and labels they might not otherwise have tried.
The key card keeps a running tab of all your selections, and you can select from a full pour (six ounces); a taste (three ounces); or a sip (1.5 ounces).
The dispenser is frequently stocked with fresh picks, so there's always something new to try at Sorso Wine Room.
If you're looking for a more traditional wine tasting experience, Sorso has an expansive cellar list available by the bottle. About 10 bottles are also available by the glass.
Sorso (which means "sip" in Italian) is also a wine cafe, where you can enjoy charcuterie boards that feature imported meats, cheeses and breads.
There are also "gusto" antipasti plates (Think gourmet olives and crostini with dips.); 12 gourmet bruschettas; specialty salads and sandwiches; and a daily selection of sweets from local bakery Paula Jacqueline Cakes and Pastries.
Along with wine, the wine bar also serves 14 regional craft beers available on draft or by the bottle.
Of course, a wine bar wouldn't be complete without a happy hour, and Sorso delivers two. Drink specials are available Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. There's also a late-night Reverse Happy Hour after 10 p.m.
Sorso also offers a late-night food menu, and a Weekend Brunch is in full swing every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
For a sweet finish to your night, sample the dessert wine menu, which features specialty bottles, including the Portugal Neigh Apple Ice Wine from Canada and a Ruby Porto from Portugal.
The decor at Sorso is described as "industrial chic" and features tufted booths, bistro tables, a full bar and a large outdoor patio. There's plenty of room for large parties and more private nooks and crannies for date nights.
Sorso is open until midnight from Monday through Thursday and until 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
