The Wildling Museum celebrated its grand reopening on August 24th by inviting the community to visit their new, larger location in Solvang. An organization dedicated to the space "where art and nature meet," the mission of the Wildling Museum is to encourage and inspire visitors to place an increased value on nature and conservation efforts.

The Wildling's new location more than doubles their exhibition space, allowing them to feature up to five different shows at the same time. Previous exhibitions have included works by legends like Ansel Adams and Georgia O'Keefe, as well as local artists. The Wildling Museum also offers field classes, guest lectures and other family-friendly events. Visit their website or Facebook page to view upcoming exhibitions and activities.
In addition to increased exhibition space, the new location has allowed the Wildling Museum to add a gift shop, wilderness resource center and a study space that's open to the public. There are also spaces available to reserve for special events.
The museum is open from 11 AM to 5 PM Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. On Saturday and Sunday the Museum is open from 10 AM to 5 PM. The Museum is closed Tuesday. Parking is available in nearby lots or on the street.
