Now that its multi-million-dollar renovation is complete, Residence Inn Montreal Downtown by Marriott is inviting travelers to check out this all-suite Montreal hotel located on Peel Street, which has been transformed for 2015.

Floor-to-ceiling enhancements include new carpets, floor tiles, wall vinyl, furnishings, appliances and artwork. Here, cozy suites are combined with modern technologies that are perfect for both short and long-term stays.

“The comfort and convenience of our guests was at the center of our entire renovation,” says Marco Carelli, general manager of Residence Inn Montreal Downtown. “We’re beyond excited to be open again and look forward to catering to travelers in our new hotel.”

According to reviews, visitors are most impressed by the knowledgeable staff, who offer great, up-to-date advice on all things Montreal, including not-to-be-missed events and festivals that define the city.

Other notable highlights of the hotel include a warm, welcoming lobby – compliments of a stylish fireplace that adds to the homey appeal and provides a chic, comfortable space for guests to relax and socialize in during their stay. Teal accents add to the pop and sophistication of the decor.

The Hearth Room offers a complimentary healthy and hearty hot breakfast buffet, with new floor-to-ceiling windows that look out onto Peel Street and into Montreal's booming downtown west end.

Bedrooms feature rich, chocolate brown furnishings and neutral wall colors; superior bedding, with feather and foam pillows; and stylish light fixtures that complement modern technologies, including flat-panel TVs and complimentary high-speed internet access.

Attractive cabinetry and new stainless-steel appliances now adorn the fully equipped kitchens, providing guests with everything they need for a comfortable extended stay.

Light sleepers appreciate the energy-efficient new windows that reduce the sounds of lively Peel Street and let in plenty of natural light.

The bathrooms in all guest suites also received a facelift that includes sinks with marble countertops on dark wood cabinets, space-saving glass shelves for personal items, glass-enclosed showers and new ceramic tile.

The overall feel of the renovated Residence Inn Montreal Downtown is warm, contemporary and fully functional.
