After you've followed through with these simple steps, know that adventures are awaiting you around any corner of Niagara Falls. You see, Niagara Falls is a city where there's much to do for the eccentric and laidback tourist. It's a place where you can spend a leisurely day playing a round of golf, test your luck at the slot machines, be a kid again on Clifton Hill, watch the masses of water pound down into the Niagara River or a spot where you can truly connect with nature.
As this is your first trip to Niagara Falls, you're probably going to want to head on over to The Maid of The Mist. Here you'll get up close and personal with the Falls and truly feel the wrath and power of the water that pounds down into the river below.
Once your rain jacket is soaked, take a trip to The Journey Behind The Falls where you'll see the falls from a unique perspective. Keeping with the theme of the river, venture off on a Whirlpool Jetboat Tour where your adrenaline will skyrocket as you zoom through the rapids of the Niagara River.

After you've had your fill of the water, stroll up Clifton Hill and pop into one of the most eccentric museums in town, The Ripley's Believe it Or Not! Museum. Or check out one of the many wax museums, take a stroll through the Rainforest Cafe's unique creature displays or ride the Niagara Skywheel and see Niagara Falls from a birds-eye view.
With a plethora of restaurants on Clifton Hill and in the surrounding area, you surely won't go hungry on your first visit to the area. And after dinner, venture off to the Fallsview area and test your luck at the slot machines in the Fallsview Casino.
If you're traveling with children to the Falls, a must-see is Marineland. It's fun for the whole family, and if getting kissed by a beluga whale is on your bucket list, then off to Marineland you'll go. With whale and dolphin shows, animals parks and rides galore, Marineland is like its own fun little village in the heart of Niagara Falls.
Spend the rest of your day strolling through Niagara's finest parks. From the Niagara Gorge to the Botanical Gardens, you'll be mesmerized at the true beauty of nature. End the day at an amazing Italian restaurant, Casa Mia's and reminisce about all the adventures you experienced that day.
