Biltmore Cabaret has been a mainstay amongst Vancouver's nightlife for a number of years. It's a popular place to check out up-and-coming bands throughout the week. However, Sundays are a different breed, and one for the books!
Kitty Nights at the Biltmore take place on Sunday nights; it's a sexy evening of burlesque dance performances. Burgundy Brixx, your host of the evening, started Kitty Nights in New York City, and she has since brought the show to Vancouver. In fact, Kitty Nights recently celebrated six sexy years in Vancouver. The show's been dubbed "Canada's Most Popular Burlesque Show"!

The velvet booths and rich red lighting set the tone of the evening. So head to the bar, grab yourself a drink and let's get this show started!
Doors open at 8 p.m., and the show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets at the door are only $9. Grab a seat and enjoy Burgundy Brixx and The Purrrfessor's sassy sense of humor, as they get the night started and host your evening.
Prepare yourself for a night of sultry moves, showstopping costumes and wicked performances. Each week offers a different lineup of talented dancers who have their own playful personalities, and many of whom have a loyal fan base. A number of local artists have started their career here before being propelled into stardom.
These femme fatales attract a diverse group of people. Whether it's ladies out on a girls' night, a couple looking for a fun date or a group of friends changing up their usual Sunday routine, Kitty Nights West is fun for all. Don't expect to find a crowd of wallflowers here: this crowd knows how to have a good time.
These ladies are the real deal, too. The costumes are carefully crafted, their hair is just right and their make-up would make any original pinup girl proud. This is the way burlesque shows should be!
The Biltmore is located in the basement of the Howard Johnson Hotel. Getting there isn't very difficult, whether you're driving, taking a cab or riding the bus.
Other notable nights at the Biltmore are Friday nights' Ice Cream Social. Expect '5's and '60s rock and roll, pop, psych and party music blasting from the speakers, as footloose and fancy-free dancers take over the floor. Glory Days occur throughout the month, and it's best to check the website to find out specific dates. Resident DJs, My!Gay!Husband!, Sincerely Hana, Rico Uno and Genie will be there.
