For years John's has occupied this 1903 building on Pandora, a regular breakfast stop for many Victorians. Posters of celebrities from the 1940s, 50s and 60s cover the paneled walls, so there's plenty to look at while you're waiting for your food. And it is well worth any wait. John's uses only top quality ingredients like real butter (no margarine!), seasonal fruit (no canned fruit cocktail!) and homemade sausages (no fresh-from-the-freezer links). Eggs Benedict fans will be enthralled at the variety here, and non-fans may become converts. Or create your own omelette from a roster of over 30 ingredients. For a little something sweet, sample the flapjacks topped with the house cream cheese syrup. Whatever you choose, you won't go away hungry!
