Dark Horse Bar and Grill (also called the World Famous Dark Horse) is truly a bar for everyone! Drink specials galore, fun events, exceptional food and one of the funkiest vibes in Boulder make this a gathering places for 20- and 30-somethings that's not to be missed. A patio with views of the Flatirons also makes this a perfect meeting place during the spring and summer months.
Just walking into the Dark Horse is enough to make your ADD go wild. Movie decorations and antiques cover every inch of the space from floor to ceiling. We swear: you'll think you've walked into a scene from Hoarders.
There is a back bar for special events, as well as TVs for sporting events. If you're a pool or foosball fan, tables can be found throughout this compartmentalized funhouse.

At the Dark Horse, you'll find your typical pub-fare mixed in with some Creole pizzazz. Some of our favorites include these:
Try the quesadillas, stuffed with cheese, tomatoes, green chiles and sour cream. Salsa comes on the side for dipping. Breaded onion rings make for a crunchy way to start your evening, and they pair well with some of the fresh beers on tap.
For something with a bit more kick, indulge in the red chili poppers, exploding with cream cheese and served with a sweet raspberry sauce.
Get dirty with the BBQ ribs, slathered in sauce and served with garlic bread and cole slaw. The Flatiron Steak or avocado burger are also great choices for you meat-lovers out there.

On tap, you'll find craft delights from your favorite local brewing companies, including Avery, Oskar Blues, Upslope and Fat Tire. Every night features drinks specials, including $2 Barcardi on Monday, $3.25 (per pint) New Belgium on Thursday and $3.25 Avery beer pints on Saturday.
With drink specials like these, you should have no trouble getting enough of a buzz to at least attempt some of the Dark Horses' fun and fanciful events.
Known for its Tuesday Night Trike Night, Dark Horse hosts a tricycle race around the bar. The standard chugging applies, and Budweiser typically offers awesome prizes.
For karaoke hounds, Thursday night is prime time for crooning to your favorite tunes. Friday nights might seem laid-back, since it's BINGO night, but we assure you that this isn't grandma's game. Saturdays offer live music for free, and Sundays are reserved for live sporting events.
If you're bored, there's always something to do at the Dark Horse!
