With the Flatirons as a backyard play ground, hiking, mountain biking, and rock-climbing are easily accessible and not-to-be-missed. Chautauqua Park offers the Royal Arch and Green Mountain hikes; not for the faint of heart, but well-worth the attempt for the spectacular views. Eldorado Canyon State Park boasts world-class rock-climbing and trails, but for those of you who would like to stay indoors, breweries, museums, and art exhibits can be found near Boulder's quaint Pearl Street Mall.
