The City Park neighborhood is home to the city’s two popular family-friendly attractions: Denver Zoo and Denver Museum of Nature & Science.  Denver is known for its outdoor activities and the tree-lined City Park is the Mile High's largest outdoor space, with miles of jogging and biking trails -- and the best sunset  over downtown Denver with the Rocky Mountains as a backdrop!

  • Attractions: Denver Zoo

Kids of all ages love the Denver Zoo, located 5 minutes east of downtown. Within Denver’s historic City Park, bring your walking shoes as the Denver Zoo is set on 80 acres and is home to 4,000 animals representing more than 685 specials including exotic animals. The Most recent addition to the Denver Zoo debuted in June of 2012, the $50 million, 10-acre Toyota Elephant Passage.

The College Inn has been a City Park neighborhood fixture for decades. Known to locals as CI, the landmark is part diner with an affordable pub-fare menu with burgers, sandwiches and even a sloppy burrito!  Great daily specials include $1.50 Taco Mondays and Fish Fry Fridays.  Happy hour and night time, CI turns into a college-aged and under 30 joint with its cheap drink specials
