At the Center for the Appreciation of Mesoamerican Art (CAMA), a pop-up café proves to be a perfect place to unwind and try a taste of indigenous flavor. Set against the backdrop of an eco-lodge built in the Bri Bri style, the café consists of just a handful of tables and chairs in a cozy setting just off of the main road. Chocolate drinks are prepared as Mesoamericans have been making them for thousands of years, ground into liquor from beans grown by local indigenous farmers. Each cup of single-origin coffee is prepared to order with a chorreador, the traditional Costa Rican pour over style.
