Nightclubs are a dime a dozen in a party hearty town like Washington, D.C. But it's rare to find a club that exudes class and style the way the big boys do in Las Vegas. Enter a brand new club called The Huxley. This 4,600 square foot nightclub has been modeled after the latest clubs rocking New York City and Las Vegas.

Rather than take an old space and just slap a new name and new decor on it, the owners of The Huxley have literally built it from the ground up. The duo took over an old television studio with an expansive ground floor area the featured incredibly tall ceilings. The club is divided into two main parts. The Ballroom features elegant twinkling chandeliers, a raised DJ booth, rich wall coverings in red and purple with towering mirrors all around a hardwood dance floor. There's also a raised dance platform, plenty of banquette seating and 11 exclusive bottle-service tables. For a quieter evening, head to The Study, a dimly lit lounge with coffered ceilings and table alcoves for smaller groups. The Study also has a separate sound system and its own DJ booth.

The Huxley is really stressing the elegance of its style. Strict dress codes. Well-mannered staff with crisp, efficient skills. And a guest list that will cater to the rich and famous, the movers and shakers and the beautiful people of D.C. One must call or text ahead to even hope to get on the guest list.
