Considered one of the premiere jazz clubs in D.C., the Georgetown haunt attracts some of the biggest names in the world of jazz music. Both a supper club and a jazz club, Blues Alley is often called a "hidden gem" by those who stumble across it. Cozy and intimate, the jazz fans at Blues Alley are there for the music (so don't plan on chatting through every set). While the food is somewhat standards, the music is the real reason folks turn out to the club. Jazz is the mainstay, but R&B and other styles sometimes make appearances. Kevin Eubanks, Trina Broussard and Dave Brubeck are just some of the renowned artists who have played Blues Alley.
