Fort Lauderdale is shining brightly on the world stage more and more when it comes to world-class hotels.

Recently named by a premier international travel magazine as the best hotel in Florida, the Pillars Hotel is a boutique property conveniently located just steps from the beach and right in the heart of Fort Lauderdale. This prestigious recognition holds a certain cachet for this property that locals and frequent travelers have known about all along.

With only 18 rooms and suites, this magnificent property has recently gone through renovations including the expansion of the common area, an elegant new lobby and lounge area, larger and more comfortable suites and the addition of a formal dining room and wine bar. These changes have not gone unnoticed. The national and local recognition of the Pillars Hotel speaks well of its stellar service, amenities and reputation. Listed as one of the 500 top hotels in the world and number 14 among small hotels in the United States by the magazine's readers in 2012, the Pillars was also awarded the "Certificate of Excellence" in 2011 and 2012.

The hotel's location could not be better. Within walking distance of the beach, patrons can also hop on the Water Taxi at the property's private stop and take a tour of the city's famous waterways.  You can even make a stop at Las Olas Boulevard to spend a wonderful afternoon exploring its many restaurants, boutiques, museums and art galleries.

The Pillars is the perfect place to stay for a weekend on the beach, a business trip, after a splendid cruise or an unforgettable honeymoon. The views here are priceless. Enjoy the parade of amazing yachts in the Intracoastal, then take in the breathtaking sunset while dining on the hotel's private dock. The Pillars Hotel speaks volumes of Fort Lauderdale's place in luxury travel and luxury accommodations.
