Tucked inside the basement of the "shabby chic" Townhouse Hotel, this slick, trendy restaurant has a relaxed, lounge-like vibe. Perfectly mixed cocktails and outstandingly rendered sushi are the top attractions. The menu features exotic Asian-fusion dishes such as lobster roll with yellow tomato and yuzu pepper dressing, live Maine lobster sashimi, and sun-dried tomato and avocado roll with garlic ponzu oil and green tea salt. Everything is painstakingly prepared and beautifully presented. A good wine list is available, but check out the interesting sake selection. Reservations recommended. Also of interest: The Rooftop Lounge and Sushi Bar, open to the public on Friday and Saturday from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Private parties sometimes book this spot, so you might want to call ahead. But when it's free, it's fab, featuring the best neighborhood views on South Beach.
