5 Old Naples Pub
The Old Naples Pub is located in the thick of one of Naples's leading shopping zones. The lunch and dinner menu strays a bit from the traditional pub fare, offering everything from fish and chips and burgers to Caesar salads and bratwurst. This is a cool place to hang, and patrons are always treated like long-lost friends. There is a courtyard area that is great on pretty days and live entertainment most days of the week. The happy hour prices are more than reasonable. (239-649-8200)

4 First Watch Restaurant
First Watch Restaurant is located just west of the center of Olde Naples, near Lowdermilk Park. The restaurant serves better-than-average diner fare in an atmosphere that is reminiscent of a tearoom. This is a great place to visit for either breakfast or lunch. You have your choice of an omelet, soup and sandwich plate, bowl of fresh fruit, salad, or a burger. Al fresco dining is available. (239-434-0005)

3 Meson Olé Restaurant
Meson Olé Restaurant, located north of Olde Naples, is one of the town's favorite Spanish/Mexican lunch destinations. The atmosphere is laid-back, and the waitstaff is extremely amiable. Menu options include the standard enchiladas, tacos, and chimichangas, but there are also a few treats on there as well, including Castilian soup and sopaipillas. Meson Olé is also a great place to enjoy a cup of Mexican coffee. (239-649-6616)

2 Tommy Bahama Tropical Café
This laid-back Olde Naples lunch destination has, as you would expect, a definite tropical theme. The Caribbean décor is bright, marked by all sorts of tropical plants and artwork. Tommy Bahama's serves a hybrid of rather spicy American and Jamaican cuisine, including jerk chicken. Many patrons fall in love with this place and end up spending a good part of their day sipping the Tommy's Bungalow Brew. Located beside the restaurant are men's and women's retail shops that sell tropical apparel bearing Tommy Bahama's name. (239-643-6889)

1 The Dock at Crayton Cove
This restaurant is responsible for one of Naples's most fun events — the Great Dock Canoe Race. The Dock at Crayton Cove is an open-air restaurant that enjoys ideal views of Naples Bay. The atmosphere here is informal, and the place has a sort of island feeling to it. The menu is reasonably priced and includes several seafood dishes bearing a taste of the tropics, such as Florida swordfish, Jamaican jerk shrimp, and plantain snapper. (239-263-9940)
