Winter Park’s Park Avenue is known as the alternative for downtown Orlando. Filled with boutiques and unique restaurants and bars, the white lights and outdoor setting make for a relaxed and romantic night. Prato, the newest addition to Park Ave. has brought a different vibe to the area.
With its simple concept and Italian cuisine, it blends contemporary with rustic and offers a laid-back atmosphere with it’s long bar and outdoor seating. Friendly servers, good wine, amazing meatballs and deliciously fresh pizzas make this a must-visit when in the area. It gives sister restaurant right down the way, Luma, good competition.
The amount of food and selection Prato offers may is extensive and the quality of food is unrivaled. The laid back bar atmosphere gives the impression that the food won’t match the environment, but Prato, with its hand-cured meats, inventive pizzas and handcrafted pastas, does to the taste buds what the view and décor do to the eyes.

The imported Acunto wood-burning ovens brought over from Naples are used to give each baked dish a signature smoky finish. Prato, like its sister restaurant Luma, is committed to using fresh and local produce and responsibly farmed meats.
While the pastas, salads and starters all deserve recognition; the pizzas are on another level.
