With venues that include the Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar, the upscale Oceanaire Seafood Room, Funky Monkey Wine Company and Taverna Opa, most locals think of Pointe Orlando as a dining and entertainment venue but make no mistake -- there's shopping a'plenty. Clothing (Chico's, Hollister, Victoria's Secret, Tommy Bahama), accessories (Sunglass Hut, Tharoo & Co. Jewelry) and interesting venues like Mosaik Market's Moroccan home furnishings and Baterby's Art Gallery are just the tip of the iceberg. But if you want to just chuck it all for popcorn and a movie at its Regal 20 + IMAX theater, you can beat the Florida heat and likely save money at the same time.
