With the all-new Despicable Me Minion Mayhem ride in high-gear after its recent grand opening, Universal Studios Florida kicks it's kid appeal up yet another notch with 3-D animation, all-ages humor and best of all: Minions!. Also new to the party and great for the kids, Universal's Superstar Parade features an array of beloved characters, from those aforementioned Minions to Spongebob Squarepants to preschool icons Dora and Diego. It's not all for the little ones, though. Coaster aficionados will rejoice in the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, Orlando's tallest, which also boasts the world's first non-inverting loop. Revenge of the Mummy, however, is not to be counted out. This indoor marvel plunges riders into darkness as they race through dazzling, special effects-driven perils from the film that inspired it: scurrying carnivorous scarabs, an army of warrior mummies and an almost too real fireball.
