Ice cream floats made with milk stout. A snickerdoodle beer with caramel cream and coffee. A jasmine green tea pale ale.
At Intracoastal Brewing Company, you never know what you’ll find on tap.
This unique and innovative brewery located in the heart of the Eau Gallie Arts District on the Space Coast, Fla., is a beer-lover’s paradise. The menu's always changing, and the taproom is a popular and relaxing hangout.

The Space Coast is known for its microbrew scene. It’s home to some of Florida’s biggest and best brewhouses. But none is quite like Intracoastal Brewing Company.
Beer flavors seem to always be changing here, and you’re sure to find combinations you’ve never tried before. Bacon beer, anyone? Or a hard root beer?
Just one popular beer is Peanut Butter Jelly Time, a brown ale made with peanuts and strawberries, so it smells and tastes like a PB&J sandwich.
But beyond just being interesting, these brews are tasty; they do unique right. You might not expect to enjoy a peanut butter and jelly brewski, but even the biggest skeptics find themselves nodding with delight!

The best way to visit the taproom is with a tasting flight, so you can get a sample of it all. (Including flavors you think you wouldn’t like.) If you find a favorite, grab a pint or take home a growler.
Then come back next week for a new lineup. Even the regulars are continually entertained.
The taphouse is located within walking distance of the arts district, accessed via the Indian River bridge, and near many top-notch shops and restaurants.
With a location like this, it’s only natural that the brewery keeps one hand in different community activities. Find Intracoastal at the Spring Fling in April. It also organizes yoga classes (‘“brewga”), trivia competitions and more.
In the taphouse, score a seat outside on the picnic table to enjoy Florida’s warm weather (and add your name or message to the Sharpie-covered tabletops), or find a seat at the bar and chat with a local or watch the game on the tube.
Challenge friends or even your kids (Intracoastal doesn’t mind if you bring the minis.) to a competition; board games and cards are provided.

Although it doesn't serve food, as expected in a typical brewery, you can bring food inside, and bartenders are happy to offer suggestions for local restaurants, many of which deliver.
Intracoastal Brewing Company is an ideal nightlife destination for travelers who are feeling adventurous and want to experience local flavor and atmosphere.
Of course, the downside with such a quick rotation of flavors is if you find one you love, it might not be there next visit. Enjoy it while it lasts, and live in the moment here.
