10 Best Places to Hit the Town near Malabar, Florida

Malabar is a small town on the Space Coast, Fla., not far from Palm Bay and Melbourne. Although it's far from the most popular tourist destination in Brevard County – the hoppin' Cocoa Beach and Port Canaveral areas take that honor – Malabar is a still a lovely vacation spot, located right on the Indian River.

Nightlife here is not wild, but you can enjoy a relaxing game of pool or tip back a beer at a handful of establishments within a 10-minute drive.

Three bars rise to the top of the nightlife scene in Malabar. Malabar Mo's features live beer, outdoor seating and a menu of munchies late until 11 p.m. The Old Fish House Bar and Grill has a long history in Brevard County, as the site of various fishing operations over the past century. Today, it's a great place to cool off with a frozen drink on the patio with a view of the water.

Siggy's American Bar is another top place to go out near Malabar. Siggy's has been a locally run staple for 25 years. Look for food specials, like quarter wings, and plenty of fun games to keep your entertained. Play beer pong, sing karaoke or try your luck and skill at poker.
