Dale Chihuly is an American artist specializing in glass sculpture. After a bodysurfing accident dislocated his shoulder in 1979, Chihuly was no longer able to hold the glass blowing pipe, so today he directs a team of glass blowers as they bring his artistic visions to life. In addition to the Morean Arts Center, you can see his permanent collections at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, the Phoenix Desert Botanical Garden and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London (to name just a few).
