Tucked into Loew's Don CeSar - one the area's venerable landmarks - Sea Porch Café offers a popular bountiful brunch on Sunday from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. The champagne brunch buffet features traditional selections such as made-to-order omelets, poached eggs, waffles, muffins and more, along with custom carving stations, fresh salads and decadent desserts. The cinnamon Monkey Break with warm toffee sauce - ordered a la carte - is a "must." Throw in fresh Mint Julep and classic cocktails and you should be good to go for the rest of the day. A varied selection of coffees, teas, frosty smoothies add to the experience. The setting isn't too shabby either with tropical indoor-outdoor seating boasting sweeping views of the bay.
- Brunch: "When the weather is nice, be sure to get there early to snag a table on the patio. Outdoor tables fill up quickly and feature views of the pool and the beach beyond."
- Beach Restaurants: "All seats are good, but ask for one on the loggia. There you'll have great views of the historic Pink Palace, its pools and beach and of course, great people watching!"
- Best for Brunch Because: A beautiful setting, delicious cuisine set in a classy, historic ambiance. Who could ask for more?
- Best for Beach Restaurants Because: One of the only restaurants on St. Pete Beach where you can dine beachfront while enjoying an a la carte brunch (including the signature Monkey Bread).
